India, 26 December 2025 — The Indian U-19 women's football team secured a commanding 3-1 victory against Nepal in their opening match of the SAFF U-19 Women's Championship held in Dhaka, Bangladesh on Sunday. The Indian squad demonstrated strong offensive play, with goals scored by Anita Kumari, Priyangka Devi, and Lynda Kom, setting a positive tone for their campaign in the tournament.

The match took place at the BSSS Mostafa Kamal Stadium, where India showcased their preparedness and tactical prowess.
