Indian Badminton Team Advances to Finals at Asian Championships

India, 18 December 2025 — The Indian badminton team has reached the finals of the Asian Badminton Championships after a decisive victory against Malaysia in the semi-finals. The match, held in Kuala Lumpur, saw India triumph with a 3-1 scoreline on 17 December 2025.

In the semi-final clash, Indian players showcased exceptional skill and teamwork. Star singles player Lakshya Sen gave India an early lead by winning his match in straight sets. Following him, the doubles pair of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty extended the lead with another dominant performance.
