Nivia goalkeeper gloves compared: Web, Spider, Torrido and Force
Nivia is one of the most common football brands in Indian schools and clubs, and its goalkeeper gloves cover a price range from ₹539 to ₹1,349 on InstaSport. For a young or new keeper, glove choice is mostly about fit, grip and budget; the extra spend on a higher-priced model makes sense once the keeper is playing several matches a week.
The four gloves at a glance
| Glove | Price | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| Nivia Web | ₹539 | First pair, school and practice |
| Nivia Spider | ₹1,034 | Regular weekend matches |
| Nivia Torrido | ₹1,097 | Regular match use, step up from Spider |
| Nivia Force | ₹1,349 | Most committed keepers in the Nivia range |
Read each listing for details on the palm material and finger protection, as these vary by model. Our general goalkeeper gloves buying guide explains cuts and latex types in depth.
How do you pick the right size?
Measure around the widest part of the hand, excluding the thumb, and compare it with the size chart on the listing. Gloves should be snug without squeezing, with a little room at the fingertips. If your hand is between sizes, go up, because gloves tighten slightly with wear and moisture. Never buy a size too big for a growing child hoping they will grow into it, as loose gloves twist and reduce control.
How do you make goalkeeper gloves last?
- Rinse after use. Lukewarm water and a mild soap, then air-dry away from direct sun.
- Do not wring them. Press the water out gently to protect the palm.
- Store flat. Folded or crushed gloves lose their shape.
- Use a dedicated practice pair. Keeping a cheaper pair such as the Web for training saves the better pair for matches.
