What is the difference between single-sided and dual-sided power meters?

Dual-sided power meters like the PES-P515 measure both left and right leg power independently. Single-sided meters measure only one leg and double it, introducing error if your power balance is not 50/50 — common among cyclists with muscle imbalances. The PES-P515's dual-sided measurement is more accurate and provides actionable left-right balance data.

Can I use this with Zwift?

Yes — the PES-P515 connects via Bluetooth to Zwift on any device (iOS, Android, PC, Mac, Apple TV). It also connects via ANT+ to Zwift on PC/Mac with an ANT+ dongle. Zwift reads power, cadence, and can calculate virtual speed.

What chainrings are compatible?

The PES-P515 uses a 110BCD 4-bolt spider. Any quality 110BCD 4-bolt compact chainring (50/34T or 52/36T for road) is compatible, including Shimano, SRAM, and Magene's own optional QED split chainrings.
