Do the PD-R7000 pedals come with cleats?

Yes — they include one set of SM-SH11 yellow cleats (±3° float). These are the recommended starting point for most riders. Additional cleat sets are available separately.

Are these compatible with Shimano Dura-Ace or Ultegra groupsets?

Yes — cleat and pedal compatibility is cross-tier for all Shimano SPD-SL systems. The PD-R7000 pedals work perfectly with any Shimano road groupset from Sora to Dura-Ace.

How do I adjust the release tension?

A small Phillips screw on the rear of the pedal body adjusts release tension. Turn clockwise to increase tension (harder to clip out) and counter-clockwise to decrease. Start at the loosest setting when learning.
