The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced an all-female panel of 13 match officials for the upcoming Women's T20 World Cup, scheduled to take place in the United Arab Emirates from October 3 to 20. Among the appointed officials are two Indian representatives: match referee G.S. Lakshmi and umpire Vrinda Rathi.Lakshmi and Rathi were also part of the match official panel for the previous edition of the tournament held in South Africa in 2023. The current panel comprises three match referees and 10 umpires.For the marquee India vs Pakistan match at the Dubai International Stadium on October 6, Australia's Eloise Sheridan and South Africa's Lauren Agenbag have been appointed as on-field umpires, while Jacquline Williams of the West Indies will serve as the television umpire.The tournament kicks off on October 3 with the opening clash between Bangladesh and Scotland, which will be officiated by Claire Polosak of Australia and Agenbag. India will begin their campaign on October 4 against New Zealand, with Williams and Anna Harris of England as the on-field umpires and Polosak as the TV umpire.New Zealand's Kim Cotton and Agenbag will be the on-field umpires for India's game against Sri Lanka on October 9, while England's Suzanne Redfern will be the TV umpire. Redfern and Cotton will also officiate India's match against defending champions Australia on October 13, with Williams in charge of TV duty.The umpires and match referees for the semifinals and final, to be played on October 17, October 18, and October 20 respectively, will be announced later.The ninth edition of the tournament was initially scheduled to be hosted by Bangladesh but was moved due to political unrest in the country. The tournament will be held across two venues in the UAE - Dubai and Sharjah.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the match officials for the Super 8 stage of the ongoing ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024. Rodney Tucker and Paul Reiffel will officiate the opening Super 8 match between India and Afghanistan in Barbados on June 20. David Boon will serve as the match referee.For India's crucial clash with Australia, Richard Kettleborough and Richard Illingworth will be the on-field umpires, with Jeff Crowe as the match referee. The match will be played at the Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium in St Lucia on June 24.Chris Gaffaney and Richard Kettleborough will oversee the USA's historic first-ever knockout match at an ICC Men's T20 World Cup against South Africa on June 19. Joel Wilson will be the TV umpire for this match, and he will also stand as an on-field umpire alongside Gaffaney when the USA faces England in Barbados on June 23.Allahudien Paleker, making his senior men's tournament debut, will act as the fourth umpire for the USA-South Africa match. He will also be the TV umpire for England's meeting with the West Indies on June 19.Nitin Menon and Ahsan Raza will be the on-field umpires for England's match against the West Indies, while Sharfuddoula Ibne Shahid will be the TV umpire. Ibne Shahid will also act as an on-field umpire alongside Chris Brown for England's second Group 2 game against South Africa on June 21.Jeff Crowe, who has overseen more T20Is than anyone else, will be the match referee for England's clashes with the West Indies and South Africa, as well as Australia's match against India.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the match officials for the upcoming T20 World Cup in the Americas, scheduled to begin on June 1. Indian umpires Nitin Menon and Jayaraman Madanagopal, along with ICC match referee Javagal Srinath, will represent India at the tournament.The ICC has selected a total of 26 match officials, including 20 umpires and six referees, to oversee the 55 matches across nine venues in the United States of America (USA) and the West Indies. The list of umpires includes renowned ICC officials such as Richard Illingworth, Kumar Dharmasena, Chris Gaffaney, and Paul Reiffel.Madanagopal, along with Sam Nogajski, Allahudien Paleker, Rashid Riaz, and Asif Yaqoob, will make their ICC senior men's competition debut. The six referees include Ranjan Madugalle, Jeff Crowe, and Andrew Pycroft, who are also well-known in the cricketing world.ICC General Manager Wasim Khan expressed confidence in the selected match officials, stating that they have a "complement of experienced match officials and other high-performing members who have been recognized for their strong and consistent performances." He added that the ICC is proud of the team assembled and is confident that they will perform strongly.The T20 World Cup in the Americas will feature 16 teams competing in the first round, with the top eight teams advancing to the Super 12 stage. The tournament will culminate in the final on June 16 in Lauderhill, Florida.
