After their elimination, Rayudu took to social media to troll the franchise, stating that "only passion and celebration don't win you the title."
Rayudu's comments sparked a war of words between former players of both sides. Rayudu later clarified that his criticism was directed at RCB's management, not the fans. He emphasized that the franchise could have achieved greater success if they had prioritized team interests over individual milestones.
