Yorkshire Vikings emerged victorious in a thrilling Metro Bank One-Day Cup encounter against Surrey at the Kia Oval, securing a 25-run victory via the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method.

Will Luxton, a rising star for Yorkshire, played a pivotal role with a magnificent 83 off 79 deliveries, including 12 boundaries. George Hill, another young talent, contributed a valuable 51 off 38 balls and claimed three wickets for 41 runs with his medium pace.

Matt Revis added to the Vikings' late surge with four dramatic sixes in the final over, propelling Yorkshire to a formidable total of 240 for six from 33 overs. Surrey, set a revised target of 248 from their 33 overs, fell short at 222 for nine.
