However, the following season was marred by controversy when Vukomanovic and his team staged a walkout in protest during a playoff match against Bengaluru FC. The incident resulted in heavy fines for both the club and the coach.
Despite the controversy, Vukomanovic's contributions to Kerala Blasters cannot be overlooked. He brought stability to the club, established a strong foundation, and instilled a winning mentality in the team. His departure leaves a void that will be difficult to fill.
Kerala Blasters Director Nikhil B.
