The crowd erupted in chants of "USA, USA," a familiar refrain at Trump rallies. Trump watched the fights alongside Musk from front row seats near the octagon. Jones expressed his gratitude to Trump for attending, receiving a thunderous ovation from the crowd. After leading another round of "USA, USA" chants, Jones handed his championship belt to Trump and engaged in conversation with the President-elect.
Trump's attendance at UFC events is not uncommon, having attended three fights during his presidential campaign. His ties to the fight world extend back to the early days of UFC, when he hosted bouts at his casinos.
