Yorkshire's relentless pursuit of a record-breaking run chase culminated in a thrilling six-wicket victory over Worcestershire Rapids at New Road, keeping their Vitality Blast qualification hopes alive.

Led by an exceptional innings from opener Dawid Malan, the Vikings chased down a daunting 206-run target with three balls to spare. Malan's unbeaten 93 off 50 deliveries, adorned with five towering sixes and seven boundaries, proved pivotal in the victory.

Despite a slow start from Adam Lyth, Yorkshire's middle order stepped up to support Malan. James Wharton and Jordan Thompson provided crucial cameos, while Thompson's late onslaught of four sixes sealed the deal.
